Shri Chandan Thakore, a vibrant personality in classical dance “Bharatnatyam” has taken up dance as his full time career and is actively involved with the activities of Nrityabharti through teaching, performing and choreographing, with the aim of propagating the art of Bharatnatyam in India and Abroad
More than 22,000 students have taken training under Chandan Thakore’s guidance.
His main motto is “To present Bharatnatyam (an oldest and richest classical dance form) in Gujarati and Hindi languages in group form to make it more popular in mass level with different music in artistic and creative way.
Under the experienced eyes and meticulous approach of Chandan Thakore, Nrityabhart Performing arts, has given him more than 2000 performances (with his 150 vibrant choreographies) in India and in abroad and many countries such as Austria, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, Sydney-Australia, China, Japan, Kenya, Mauritius, Nepal.
Apart from many states of India Academically Nrityabharti’s branches are in Austria, Germany, Australia, Kenya.
He has given his services in field of dance as an adjudicator and as an examiner (Master course and also for Ph.D.) at many universities and cultural events.
In recognition his dedication and contribution in the field of Dance, he is honored with many awards.
