Dr. V. N. Shah is a distinguished Diabetologist and Endocrinologist with 35 years of experience. He is a key member of the Covid-19 Task Force Committee in Gujarat and a pioneer in the state's corporate healthcare industry. Dr. Shah has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences.
He has held various leadership roles, including President of Ahmedabad Physicians' Association (1999-2000), Joint Organizing Secretary of RSSDI, and Organizing Secretary of HSI (2000). As Honorary Secretary and Trustee of Sarvoday Higher Education Society since 1983, he oversees colleges with 3000 students. He has served as Vice President of Maruti Charitable Trust for 7 years, managing Sarvoday Vidya Mandir school.
Dr. Shah founded Zydus Hospitals in Anand and Ahmedabad, revolutionizing healthcare in India. He is also a Charter President of Lions Club of Ghatlodia (1993-94) and a Principal Investigator in diabetes medicine research.
