By profession he is Physician. He is in USA since June 1971, still practicing. Started writing in Gujarati when he went to medical school in 1965. His writings are published in various magazines in India & USA. He has written poems, short stories, novels, medical articles, essays. Uptill now 9 novels, 4 short stories & 1poem are published in India. His journey in USA is reflected in his writing what he saw, heard, experienced in Indian community in USA & American life & seeing involve, listening to them were the main inspirations for his writing. He loves Gujarati language, often talking in English whole day, I find comfortable in his mother tongue.
He has received awards from Gujarati Sahitya Parishad and Gujarati Sahitya Academy,Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for his novel & short stories.
