Medically qualified in India, Worked in District Hospitals in Gujarat including the Indian Army.
I moved to the UK in 1976, following hospital experience, became a family doctor in Salford (Greater Manchester ) and obtained postgrad qualifications. I gained experience in family medicine, teaching and research in respiratory diseases in Salford. Over the years, I became interested in preventing illness and improving wellness. I retired in 2016. I am active with an Essex faculty for lifelong learning and connectivity.
Locally associated with Khadi London, Gandhi Foundation, UK. My interest is in the prevention of illnesses and addressing lifestyle issues.
