Ambadan Rohadiya is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of Gujarati literature. With a Master of Arts and B.Ed. specializing in Gujarati and History, as well as a Ph.D. focused on the study of "Hardash Mishan," he has made significant contributions throughout his career.
Having served as a Professor and Head of the Department of Gujarati at Saurashtra University, Rohadiya possesses expertise in Charni and folk literature. He has edited Charni narrative texts and has published 47 books over the past three decades. Additionally, he has presented research papers at numerous seminars and guided several M.Phil. and Ph.D. students.
Rohadiya has also played active roles in various organizations, including serving as a trustee for the Dingal Sahitya Shodh Sansthan and as the President of the Bhartiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti Gujarat. He has been associated with the Akhil Bhartiya Charan MahaSabha, Charan Gadhavi International, and the Shree Zaverchand Meghani Loksahitya Kendra.
His contributions extend to the Gujarati language advisory board, university granthnirman board, and his active involvement in academic staff colleges, broadcasting, and literary magazines. Rohadiya's dedication and expertise have earned him recognition and respect in the field of Gujarati literature and education.
