ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય ફોરમ દ્વારા આયોજીત પરિસંવાદ શિક્ષક દિનની પૂ્ર્વ સંધ્યાએ એટલે વિષય પણ તેને સંયોજિત . પરમ પાઠક ના સુંદર સંચાલન હેઠળ ત્રિલોક. મહેતા, તખ્તસિંહ રોહિલા અને જયશ્રી જોષી એ તેમના વિચારો મંચ પર રજૂ કર્યા.
ત્રિલોકભાઈએ પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણ ની મહત્તા પર ભાર મૂક્યો. પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણ એટલે પ્રારંભિક શિક્ષણ. આ સમય દરમ્યાન બાળક ઘડાતું હોય. શિક્ષણ મેળવવા માટેનો રસ અને ઉત્સુકતા કેળવાય એ ખૂબ જરુરી હોય છે . વર્તમાન શિક્ષણમાં એનોઅભાવ વર્તાય છે. સાવ સહેલા રીતને મરોડી ને ભણતરને અઘરું બનાવી દીધું છે. કુદરતી વાતાવરણ શિક્ષણ માટે શ્રેષ્ઠ છે પણ બંધિયાર કૃતિમ વાતાવરણમાં બાળકનો વિકાસ રુંધાય છે. શિક્ષણ એ મનોવિજ્ઞાનનું ક્ષેત્ર છે. અનેક ધ્રુવોમાં વહેંચાયેલા શિક્ષણમાં શિક્ષક કયા ધ્રુવમાં આવે? શિક્ષણશાસ્ત્રીઓ એ સુફિયાણી વાતો ખૂબ કરી , પણ તે પધ્ધતિ થી ભણાવી શકાય ખરું? સરકારી શાળા માં તે વ્યવસ્થા ઉપલબ્ધ છે ખરી? સરકારી શાળાઓમાં આવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સમાજના નીચલા સ્તરમાંથી આવતા હોય છે, મોંઘી ટયૂશન ફી તેમને પોસાય નહીં, તેથી સરકાર દ્વારા તેમને પૂરતી સહાય મળવી જોઈએ. ભાર વિનાનું ભણતર એ કથન તો માત્ર સુફિયાણી વાતો જ છે. પાઠય પુસ્તકો ના ભાર થી ત્રસ્ત એક વિદ્યાર્થી એ તો ટકોર કરી ભાર વિનાનું નહી પાર વિનાનું ભણતર કહી શકાય એમ ઉલ્લેખ કરતા શિક્ષણ પ્રથા માં બદલાવ જરૂરી છે તેમ ત્રિલોક ભાઈ એ જણાવ્યું.
માધ્યમિક શાળા ના પ્રિન્સિપાલ તખ્તસિંહ ગોહિલ એ જણાવ્યું કથળતી જતી શિક્ષણપ્રથા ની ચિંતા બધાંને છે. આધુનિક શિક્ષણ પ્રત્યે નિરાશા ના ઉદ્દગાર વ્યક્ત કરતાં આપણી પ્રાચીન ગુરુકુલ શિક્ષણ પધ્ધતિ ને શ્રેષ્ઠ ગણાવી. આજે ગુરુ શિષ્ય વચ્ચે એકાત્મતા નથી જે પહેલાં હતી, વળી શાળા ના શિક્ષણ થી વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પણ સંતુષ્ટ નથી હોતા તેથી ટયૂશન ને માર્ગદર્શિકાનો સહારો લે છે. ઈન્ટરનેટ પર બધું જ જ્ઞાન ઉપલબ્ધ હોવાથી શિક્ષકો એ પણ પોતાના જ્ઞાન નો વ્યાપ વધારવો પડશે જેથી વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ની જિજ્ઞાસા સંતોષી શકે. ગામડાં ના બાળકો પાસે ટયૂશન કે ઇન્ટર નેટ જેવી વ્યવસ્થા હોતી નથી , વળી ઘરની જવાબદારી પણ હોય છે , તે પરિસ્થિતિ નો વિચાર કરી સરકાર દ્વારા સવલતો વધારવી જોઈએ. ગામડાંએ માં મુખ્યત્વે સરકારી શાળા જ હોય છે, ખાનગી શાળા ની સંખ્યા નહીંવત હોય છે. શિક્ષણ પ્રથા સુધારવા ઠોસ પગલાંની હિમાયત ખૂબજ હકારાત્મક વાતો દ્વારા કરી.
જયશ્રી બહેન ગામડાં ની નાની કોલેજ ના અધ્યાપક હોવાથી કોલેજ શિક્ષણ પ્રત્યે હજી ગામડાંએ માં જાગૃતિ નથી આવી તેનાથી માહિતગાર કર્યા. શહેરની ગુજરાતી બોલી અને ગામડાં ની બોલી માં પણ ઘણો તફાવત એટલે ભાષા ની શુધ્ધતા પર ભાર મૂકવાની જરુર છે એમ પોતાના વિચાર દ્વારા દર્શાવ્યું. ઘણાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ને કુટુંબ ની ખેતરની પણ જવાબદારી હોય છે તેથી કોલેજમાં હાજરી નહીંવત્ હોય છે. તેમને શિક્ષણ પ્રત્યે રસ જાગ્રત થાય તેવાં પગલાં લેવાવા જોઈએ તે બાબત પર ભાર મૂક્યો.
ટૂંકમાં શિક્ષણ પ્રથા માં બદલાવ અને ઉત્તમ શિક્ષકો ની સમાજ ને જરુર છે જેથી ભાવિ પેઢી દેશના નવનિર્માણ માં પોતાનો ઉત્તમ ફાળો આપી શકે.

Jayshree Joshi has completed her B.A., M.A. and B. Ed from M. S. University Vadodara. She then completed her doctorate from Sardar Patel university, Vallabh Vidyanagar. She wrote the thesis on ‘A comparative study of feelings and problems of women as expressed in the novels of Indian literature.’
Currently she is working as the head of the department of Gujarati at Shri Bhikhabhai Patel Arts College, Anand. She has a rich experience of over three decades in academic field.
Her hobbies are Reading, Photography and Translation.
She has translated a book from English to Gujarati. The title of the book is ‘The study of Environment’. This is included as a text or reference book in many Universities of Gujarat.
Takhtsinh Solanki has done B. A., M.A. and B. Ed. Gujarati. He has also done graduation Sanskrit.
Since 2004, he is involved in teaching Gujarati and Sanskrit at Secondary and higher Secondary school. Since 2016, he is working as a Principal of Secondary and higher secondary school.
He is deeply involved in writing poems and Gazals. His poems have appeared in many Gujarati magazines. He has recited poems in the functions organized by Gujarat Sahitya Academy and other institutes. He is involved in the institutes like Budhsabha and Kavi Sangat of Vadodara.
He likes to impart education by through activities, story-telling, recitation of poetry and Sanskrit Shlokas. He believes in igniting the feelings of values, spirituality and Nationalism in students.

Param Pathak has completed his graduation in Chemistry as well as in Gujarati. He has also done Post graduation and Doctorate in Gujarati from M. S. University of Vadodara.
He completed the thesis on the epic poem ‘Savitri’, written by Maharshri Aurbindo, and its Gujarati Translation.
For over three decades, he has been involved in teaching at Vallabh Vidyanagar.
He has acted as a guide of fifteen students for their doctoral work.
He is fond of folk literature of Gujarat, Criticism of literature and Comparative study of literature. He has written ten books on these topics.
