Jigna Vora, a former Indian journalist, was associated with The Asian Age in Mumbai. She gained notoriety in 2011 due to her all eged involvement in the murder of fellow journalist Jyotirmoy Dey. Although she was arrested under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), she was acquitted in 2018 due to a lack of evidence.

Her memoir, "Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison," provides a detailed account of her trial and prison experience.This book inspired the 2023 Netflix series "Scoop." Following her tumultuous career in journalism, Vora transitioned to practicing tarot reading and astrology. In 2023, she also participated in the Indian reality TV show,Bigg Boss Season 17.
