Alka Gandhi

Alka Gandhi was born and raised in Mumbai. She moved to the UK in 1965 after getting married. Throughout her career, she achieved diplomas in psychology, interpretation, computer graphics, and recruitment. She worked in the accounts department at GEC, as a green grocer and florist for 8 years. She then became a subpostmistress for 7 years. Following that, she worked as a recruitment consultant for 16 years, specifically for the DWP. In addition to her professional roles, she served as a magistrate for 16 years and was an active member of the Shree Krishna Mandir in Coventry. Currently, she is enjoying her retirement while also being a DJ at the local hospital radio.
