Born and raised in the small town of Gujarat/Saurashtra: Rajkot, in a Gandhian family, with both parents dedicating their lives to Mahatma Gandhiji in India's freedom fight.They resided in Sabarmati-Ashram for 13 years post-wedding.
My father was assigned to Rajkot in 1930. Elementary and high school education completed at Rashtriya-Shaala and GT Girls High School in Rajkot. College education at Bombay University, BA in Psychology and Sociology, followed by a Master's in Human Services (MHS) from Lincoln University in the USA.
For 40 years,provided humble services to wounded souls, including those addicted to heroin,cocaine, other street drugs, and alcohol. Later, began writing and publishedtwo books, "Suchi Kane" and "Aavo Aavo." Enjoy cooking,reading, traveling, and spending time with friends. Mother of two grownchildren and grandmother of three lovely grandchildren.
