Pooja hails from Mundra-Kutch and has settled in Bhuj after her marriage. She holds a Master of Arts (M.A.),Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) degree, all of which she pursued with a focus on Gujarati literature. Currently, Pooja is pursuing her Ph.D. in Gujarati Literature. Her deep interest in literature and reading led her to become a renowned journalist, inheriting this passion from her father,Ashwinbhai Zinzuvadia.

She has worked as a respected speaker and writer at Shri R. R. Lalan College in Bhuj, as well as at Shri Mukatjivan Swamibapa Mahila College. Currently, she is actively engaged as a prominent speaker at Kutch University's Gujarati department, Shri Kantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kutch University.

Pooja's contributions to the well-known Kutch's local newspaper "Kutch Mitra" date back to 2009,where she has been writing a column titled "Garvai," which has shed light on women's empowerment. Over the years, she has interviewed more than 250 women through this column. Furthermore, she has also written a series called "Mahila Jagat" in the monthly magazine "Face to Face."

Her stories,research articles, and other writings have been published in various different periodicals. In"Kutch Mitra" newspaper, her series of stories on women is currently being published under the title "Story Time."

In 2012, she received the 'Ladli Media National Award,' and in the following year, she was honored with the 'Ladli Media National Fellowship' for her work in the "Garvai" column.
