Throughout his career, Mr. Jha has received several accolades and made notable innovations. In 1997, he was honored with the Metrochem Award for outstanding managerial skills by the Ahmedabad Management Association. He also received the Best Collector Award in 2000 (Kheda) and 2003 (Vadodara), as well as the Prime Minister's award in 2005 for his e-governance initiative.

Mr. Jha's educational journey includes a Bachelor's degree with a gold medal in Sanskrit. Although he initially aspired to pursue medicine, he opted for a career as an IAS officer. He also participated in various study programs, such as the British Council Study Fellowship at Manchester University and the International Management Program at USDA Graduate School, Washington.

Mr. Jha has contributed columns to renowned publications like Navabharat, Samay, Namaskar, Janmabhumi, Pravasi, and Kachchhmitrama. In his professional life, he has held several significant positions, including Godhara Sub-Divisional Magistrate (1981), SPIPA (1983), Director at DRDA Mahesana (1986), General Manager at Sardar Sarovar Yogena (1988), Corporate Manager at GIIC (1992), Managing Director at Index TB (1995), Commissioner of Industries (1996), Collector of Kheda (1997), Collector of Vadodara (2001), Commissioner of Information and Entertainment Tax (2005), Secretary of Sports, Youth & Cultural Department, Chairman of Gujarat Drama & Music Akadami, and Chairman of Gujarat Lalit Kala Akadami (2009).

In 2015, Mr. Jha served as the Chairman of Gujarati Sahitya Akadami, and in 2016, he held the position of Officer on Special Duty in the Chief Minister's office.
