મહિલાઓના ભાવનાત્મક અને બૌધ્ધિક વિકાસ માટેનાં સાધનો કયાં? એ સાધનો છે ખરાં? જે છે તે કેટલાં ઉપકારક છે? મહિલાઓની સર્જનશીલતાને અભિવ્યક્ત થવા માટે કેટલી તકો છે? કલામય જીવનનો આનંદ માણવા માટેનું કેવું અને કેટલું વાતાવરણ મહિલાઓને સુલભ છે? સાહિત્યની વર્તમાન સમાજમાં કેવી પરિસ્થિતિ છે? જો આ બધા પ્રશ્નોના ઉત્તરો મનને સંતોષ આપનારા ન હોય તો એક આશાસ્પદ ઉત્તર તરીકે સંવિત્તિ ફાઉન્ડેશનને જોઈ શકાય. ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય ફૉરમ દ્વારા આયોજિત માર્ચ ૬, ૨૦૨૨ની આપણી મુલાકાતમાં સંવિત્તિના માધ્યમથી મહિલાઓનાં જીવનમાં આવેલાં સકારાત્મક પરિવર્તનો, સાહિત્ય અને સમાજના સંબંધમાં આવેલો ઊછાળ અને એથી વિશેષ સંવિત્તિની જીવનયાત્રા અને પ્રાપ્તિઓથી આપ સૌને સુવિદિત કરવાની ચાહ છે. તો, આવો – મળીએ. Where are the tools for women's emotional and intellectual development? Are there any such tools? How benevolent are they? How many opportunities are there for women to express their creativity? What and how much environment is accessible to women to enjoy artistic life? What is the current state of literature? If the answers to all these questions are not satisfactory, then the SaMvitti Foundation can be seen as a promising answer. In our meeting organized by Gujarati Sahitya Forum on March 6, 2022, I would like to share with you about the positive changes in the lives of women through SaMvitti, the rise in the relationship between literature and society. Moreover, the life journey and achievements of SaMvitti. So, come on - let's meet.

Dr. Darshini Dadawala is a Gujarati Poet and a Literary Critic. After obtaining the doctoral degree in the field of Literary Criticism, she joined the renowned The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Currently she is working as an Associate Professor of Gujarati Literature.
She has published a well-received book on theoretical criticism in Gujarati apart from several poems, articles and reviews in English, Hindi and Gujarati. She has received Sahitya Akademi’s travel grant to author. She has to her credit several presentations in international and national level seminars and conferences. She has visited USA as the Cultural Ambassador of India sponsored by the Rotary International, USA.
She is the founder president of SaMvitti Foundation. It aims at connecting women with literature in all possible ways and support them for emotional and intellectual growth. They have now reached to more than a thousand women by their flagship project “SaMvitti Sharing Story.” The Foundation has recently created an India Book of record for ‘Disseminating highest quality of literary text in maximum number through social media platforms.’
