Surat is one of the most dynamic city of India with one of the fastest growth rate due to immigration from various part of Gujarat and other states of India.
Surat is one of the cleanest city of India and is also known by several other names like "THE SILK CITY", "THE DIAMOND CITY", "THE GREEN CITY" etc. It has the most vibrant present and an equally varied heritage of the past. It is the city where the British first land in India. The Dutch and the Portuguese also established there business centers in Surat, the remnants of which are still preserved in the modern day Surat. In past this was a glorious port with ships of more than 84 countries anchored in its harbour at any time.

Active as Financial consultant for over 40 years and specializes in the field of Equities and Insurance.
Full-hearted Rotarian, associated with Rotary since 1970. Was District Governor- Dist 3060 for the year 2016-17.
From his school days he has been a man of the stage and theatre. He has successfully acted, directed and produced amateur and professional Stage Shows. Interested in Gujarati literature and has conducted literary events. Has read many books and has his personal library.
He enjoys swimming, travelling and is a food connoisseur.
Spiritually inclined, he has been inspired by the vision of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother and is for many years, is the Treasurer of Sri Aurobindo Society Surat Branch.
A happy combination of Rotary and Spirituality, he is committed to the ideas of "Service above self" and "All can be done if the god-touch is there."
